Privacy Policy

How WePDF handles account information, uploaded content, and service usage.

Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. Who is responsible

WePDF (wepdf.co) is operated by Muhammad Faisal. For privacy questions or requests relating to your personal information, contact [email protected].

2. Information we process

We process account details such as your name, email, profile information, authentication details, and subscription status. If you sign in with Google, we receive the identity information needed to create or authenticate your account.

When you use our tools, we process the files, text, media links, questions, and other content you submit, together with generated outputs such as transcripts, answers, translations, and study materials. Technical information can include IP addresses, request logs, browser details, error information, and usage or credit records.

Paddle handles payment details and billing. We receive transaction references, customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, and information needed to manage your access. We do not receive your full card number or card security code.

3. Why we use this information

We use information to provide requested tools, authenticate accounts, store and retrieve workspace content, generate AI output, manage subscriptions and credit allowances, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, legal obligations, or your consent where required.

4. Providers and sharing

Infrastructure, authentication, email, payment, and AI providers process information needed for their services. AI features send relevant content to AI providers, including OpenAI, to produce the requested results. Paddle processes purchases under its own privacy notice, and Google processes Google sign-in under its policies. These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and users. We do not sell your personal information. If you create a public sharing link, the published content and answers derived from it can be available to people who access that link. Only share material you intend to make accessible.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies and browser storage to maintain sign-in, secure sessions, and remember preferences such as language and appearance. Third-party sign-in and checkout features may use their own cookies or storage. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or reset preferences.

6. Storage and deletion

Retention depends on the type of information and the feature used. Workspace content may remain until you delete it or close your account; some processed downloads and visitor conversations have feature-specific expiry periods. We retain billing, security, and operational records where needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute handling. Deletion from backups or service-provider systems may follow their retention schedules.

You can delete supported content and request account deletion in Settings. To ask about information we hold or request correction, access, or deletion, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant authority.

7. Security and your choices

We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and avoid uploading sensitive information unless you are authorized and comfortable with the processing involved. You can choose which content to submit and whether to create a public sharing link.

8. Children and policy updates

WePDF is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us. We may update this policy as the service changes and will provide notice of material changes where required.
